XOXO
Hey everyone. Here's a layout based on Clique Kits November challenge and one of the November challenges at The Studio Challenges. The pattern paper, thickers, flair button, journaling cards and diecut all came from the Swan Lake November monthly kit from Clique Kits. The pattern paper and diecut were from Maggie Holmes Gather collection from Crate Paper. What a beautiful line!!! At The Studio Challenges, the challenge was to draw inspiration from a photo of a table setting. The photo reminded me of Thanksgiving, so I decided to do a layout of someone I was thankful for, my daughter. The soft colors also inspired me. Below are some close ups, the photo of the table setting and the sketch from Clique Kits. Thanks for stopping by.

Count Your Blessings
Hey everyone. Here's my take on Stuck?!Sketches November 15th sketch, as well as Creative Embellishment's November challenge. The pattern paper, diecuts and enamel dots used were all from Carta Bella's 'Autumn' collection. For the CE challenge I was inspired by the leaves and the colors in the photo. You also had to use wood, so I used wood veneer leaves and a heart from CE. Be sure to check out the blogs linked above. There's always tons of inspiration to be found. Below are some close ups, the sketch and inspirational photo. Thanks for stopping by.

Young, Wild & Free
Hey everyone. Here's my take on the November color palette at The Studio Challenges blog. The wood grain color that I used is quite a bit lighter and I wasn't able to incorporate the green :( Hope that's OK. The pattern paper, cutouts, journalling cards and flair button are all from Clique Kits September Moon Child Kit. The wood veneer was from Studio Calico. Close ups and the color palette are below. Thanks for stopping by.

Beach Day
Hey everyone. Here's a page based on Creative Scrapper's November #300 sketch. I used We R Memory Keepers gorgeous 'Wildflower' collection. I absolutely love this line and couldn't wait to get my hands on it!!!! I used the 6x6 paper pad, sticker sheet and diecut pack and did a little fussy cutting with the flowers. Thanks for stopping by and make sure to check out CS's blog. There's a ton of inspiration to be found there.

Up, Up & Away
Hey everyone. Here's my take on Stuck?!Sketches November 1st sketch and the November stash challenge at Scrap Our Stash. The pattern paper, acetate alphas, chipboard buttons, snippets and metal clip were all from Basic Grey's 'Carte Postale' collection. The wood veneer stars were from Studio Calico. For the stash challenge I was inspired by the navy and yellow colors as well as the little flying characters on the book cover. You also had to use at least 3 stars on your layout. Below are some close ups, the book cover inspiration photo and the sketch. Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the blogs!!

Big Things
Hey everyone. Here's a layout based on the Bingo challenge this month at Kaiser Craft. It's a picture of my daughter and her big guy doing what they love best. The pattern paper and collectables are all from Kaiser Craft's 'Provincial' collection. The sketch I used happened to be from their August challenge. I was able to do two lines of the challenge. I used fussy cut, mist, flowers and collectables as well as quote, family traditions, gold and collectables. Thanks for stopping by.

Dream Big
Hey everyone. I found some new challenge blogs to take part in, as well as a new kit club. This layout is based on the October Tic Tac Toe challenge at The Studio Challenges, as well as the October sketch at Clique Kits. The pattern paper, flair button and die cuts used are all from Clique kits' September Moon Child monthly kit. Can't wait to see what comes in the next kits!!!! The flowers were fussy cut from pattern paper and the wood veneer was from various manufacturers.
For the Tic Tac Toe challenge I used arrows, thread and flair. Thanks for stopping by!!

A Little Piece of Heaven
Hey everyone. Here's a layout based on Stuck?!Sketches October 15th sketch as well as the October book inspired stash challenge at Scrap Our Stash. The photos are of my daughter and a "few" of her furry/feathery friends at home. The pattern paper, stickers and wood veneer flowers are from Kaiser Craft. The book cover from Scrap Our Stash inspired me to dig out my Weathered Clock die from Sizzix and to use them as the circular elements on the sketch.
To create the background I dabbed an ink pad a couple times on a piece of plastic packaging, spritzed it with water and then stamped the packaging on the cardstock. Cool effect!! Another part of the stash challenge was to use twine/thread or string on the layout. I used twine and thread.
Make sure to check out the blogs and thanks for stopping by!!

Pumpkin Spice
Hey everyone. Here's my take on Creative Embellishments October challenge and the October 1st sketch at Stuck?!Sketches. The photo is a cup of pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks. Fall is my daughter's favorite time of year and this cup of yumminess is one of the reasons why!! Since you can't see the Starbucks on the cup I decided to include one of the cup sleeves. The pattern paper, chipboard frame, diecuts, stickers and brads are all from Simple Stories' 'Pumpkin Spice' collection.
The wood veneer leaves are from CE. I embossed half of the leaves for a cool look.
I was inspired by the pumpkin in the photo from CE. The twist was to use metal so I included some brads. Below are some more close ups as well as the sketch and photo inspiration. Thanks for stopping by.
