Smile

Hey everyone. Here's a layout of my daughter's grade primary orientation. The page is based on 3 different challenges. The sketch was Stuck?!Sketches September 1st sketch. At The Studio Challenges blog there was a challenge to use a frame or frames. At Scrap Our Stash there was a book inspired stash challenge. I was inspired by the colors as well as the theme of the book cover. You also had to use book or dictionary paper. There was writing on some of the flowers I fussy cut. Hope that counts. There was also very faint writing on the coral and turquoise pattern paper. The pattern paper, stickers and diecuts used were all from Pink Paislee's 'Cedar Lane' collection. I absolutely love this line. It's one of my all time favs!!! Below are some close ups as well as the different challenges. Thanks for stopping by.

Hello Spring

Hey everyone. Here's my take on Creative Scrappers sketch #298. The pattern paper, stickers and buttons were all from Bobunny's 'Secret Garden' collection. Gotta love Bobunny!!!! The little bird was fussy cut from pattern paper. I tried a new technique on the background. I stamped distress ink on a piece of plastic packaging, sprayed alittle water and stamped the ink to the background. It worked rather well and I will be trying it again. Below is the sketch and some close ups. Make sure to check out the CS blog. There is a ton of inspiration to be found!! Thanks for stopping by!!
