Little Charmer

Hey everyone. Here's my reveal for Scrap Our Stash's July sketch/word challenge (I'm a little late). It's another layout of my adorable little grandson. I have to say these word challenges are making me look deep into my stash, which is a good thing. For the word challenge I used the following:

F: Fancy Pants
I : 'I Am' collection wood veneer
R : Ranger ink spray
E : enamel dots
W : washi tape
O : orange art crayon
R : ruled journalling tag
K : kraft flag
S : stickers

I used Fancy Pants 'Good Fellows' collection which was absolutely perfect. The little kraft flag was from Maya Road, the plaid flag was made from washi tape and the orange one was made from pattern paper.

The background was made by using the packaging technique with art crayons. Make sure to check out the SOS blog for a ton of inspiration. Below are a couple more close ups and the sketch. Thanks for stopping by.

Adventure Awaits

Hey everyone. Here's my take on Stuck?!Sketches July 15th sketch. This layout is also a take on More Than Words July challenge, where the word inspiration was explore and the creative challenge was arrows. The photo is of my niece and her boyfriend exploring the river that runs along our property. I also used the word on the lower left of the page. I used Bobunny's 'Take a Hike' collection as well as Bobunny's double dot paper. Below are some close ups, the challenge and the sketch. Thanks for stopping by.

Sweet 16

Hey everyone. Here's my take on Scrap Our Stash's July Tic Tac Toe challenge. The photo is my niece celebrating her 16th birthday with the family. Hard to believe she's 16 and driving!!! Time is going by way too fast!! For this layout the paper and all the embellishments were from Fancy Pants' 'Life is Beautiful' collection. For the challenge I used the row on the bottom: striped paper, tag and banner. The striped paper is hard to see. It is above the yellow scalloped border and was visible until I covered it with embellishments. The sketch that inspired this layout was from Stuck?!Sketches. Below are some close ups and the challenge. Thanks for stopping by.
