Hey everyone. I have my take on the second August challenge over at The Studio Challenges. It's a monochromatic challenge where you are to use shades and tones of one colour. I decided to go with blue after going through my stash and finding the 'Indigo Skies' collection from Kaiser Craft. For the background I first applied modelling paste through a stencil. I then added watered down distress ink with the packaging technique and a brush. The flower clusters and butterflies were fussy cut from pattern paper. The cut file I used was from Just Nick and the finishing touch were mini pearls from Doodlebug Design. Below are some close ups. Thanks for stopping by.
