This is Bliss
Hey everyone. Here's my take on Stuck?!Sketches' February 15th sketch. The photo is of my daughter and her faithful steed. Being with him is definitely one of her favorite places to be. Once again I used the 'Happy Place' collection from Fancy Pants. Did I mention that I love this line? For the background I sprayed alittle water, then some ink spray and then more water. I blotted it with paper towel afterwards. Once dry, I splattered with more ink spray.
I really like how the texture in the cardstock shows up. The hearts were hand cut from corrugated cardboard and painted with distress crackle paint. Below are more close ups and the sketch. Thanks for stopping by.

A Great Day
Hey everyone. Here's my take on Stuck?!Sketches' February 1st sketch. The photos are of my daughter's little neighbour at one of her school races. My daughter and her dog went to cheer Libby on. It's not hard to tell that Libby and Guinny are pretty tight!!! The pattern paper, die cuts and paper clip were from Scrapbook and Cards Today's Summer 2015 Delivered Kit. The heart transparency, flair button and wood veneer camera were from Freckled Fawn's January 2016 embellishment kit. Below are some close ups and the sketch. Thanks for stopping by.

School Days
Hey everyone. Here's my take on Creative Embellishments February Challenge. I was inspired by the circular and metal elements in their picture. The twist was white space. I broke up a 6x6 circular chipboard panel by Creative Embellishments. I then embossed it with WOW ultra thick embossing powder to give the pieces a metallic look. I used beads in the centers of the flowers and the glimmer paste I splattered around also has a metallic look.
The flowers were made from the Delightful Daisy collection from Heartfelt Creations. The pattern papers used were from their Classic Sunflower collection. I found the sketch on Pinterest and it was designed by Ana Castro. You can find it below along with some more close ups and the photo inspiration. Thanks for stopping by.

Amazing Things
Hey everyone. Here's my take on Scrap Our Stash's February book inspired stash challenge. I was inspired by the colors of the book cover. I also used 3 wood veneer hearts from Studio Calico. The picture is of my daughter's 2 darling neighbors, who were all dressed up for the princess parade at their local Exhibition. The pattern paper and diecuts used were from Authentique's 'Harmony ' collection. I used Ranger distress stain and spray to add alittle color and splatters to the background.
To make the flowers I used punches from EK Success. I molded, then layered several flowers and added pearls to the centers. The sketch I followed came from Pinterest. Below are more close ups and the challenge. Thanks for stopping by.

One busy little bee!!
Hey everyone. Just wanted to share a layout I created at a crop last fall. I wasn't completely happy with the layout at first, and knew it needed a little something extra. About a month after the crop, I attended some Karan Gerber classes at My Stamping Studio where I purchased the Classic Sunflower stamp and die set from Heartfelt Creations, and found the answer!! I LOVE these sunflowers!!! They add so much to the page. The pattern paper, buttons, bling and chipboard sticker are all from Bobunny. The paper hexagons were cut with a Spellbinder die and the corrugated hexagons were cut with a Sizzix Frameworks die. A friend at the crop shared the sketch, which she had found on Pinterest. Below are some close ups and the sketch. Thanks for stopping by.
