Hand Mum Mum

Hey everyone. The Studio Challenges has a Take Five challenge this week. The five items are enamel dots/shapes, chipboard alphas, the colour orange, thread/stitching and stamps. I used pattern paper with the colour orange, enamel dots, chipboard Thickers for part of the title, and machine stitching around the border. For the stamp portion of the challenge I used a label stamp from Stamper's Anonymous and added word stickers to them. I used Simple Stories' ' Happy Trails' collection for this page. As stated in the journaling, there's nothing sweeter than that little voice asking for your hand to go for a walk. Below are some close ups. Thanks for stopping by.

Oh Happy Day

Hey everyone. I have my take on the August Sketchy Board Challenge on Facebook to share with you. I used the 'Oh Happy Day' line from Simple Stories. For the background I did some stencil stamping with Vicki Boutin's art crayons and added some splatters. I also entered this page in a tic tac toe challenge at the Scrapbook Your Joy Inspirational Group. I went with the vertical column on the right and used any shade of green, stencilling and stripes. Below are some close ups. Thanks for stopping by.

What Awesome Looks Like

Hey everyone. I'm a little late posting the last challenge at The Studio Challenges. We were hit by Hurricane Dorian last week and were without power for a few days. Everything and everyone here is OK and I am finally getting a chance to do some posting. The last challenge was to add chevrons to our page. I took a chevron background cut file from Paige Evans and cut it into 2 pieces and then backed the larger sections with pattern paper. I also used a chevron patterned paper. I used the 'Imagine That' collection from Echo Park Paper for this page of my grandson. Below are some close ups. Thanks for stopping by.
