You Are Pretty Awesome

Hey everyone. I want to share my take on the latest challenge at The Studio Challenges. For this one you were to start with half a sheet of pattern paper on the background, and the rest was up to you. I used Photoplay Paper's 'Free Bird' collection for this page. The photo is of my daughter and grandson having breakfast on the morning of her wedding. I'm glad at least one of us was so chill and relaxed that morning!! For the background I used Vicki Boutin's art crayons to add some drips and splatters. Below are some close ups. Thanks for stopping by.

Winter Days

Hey everyone. I have my take on the first challenge of the year at The Studio Challenges. It's a colour palette challenge. Such beautiful rich colours. I used the Winter Farmhouse collection from Simple Stories for this page of my daughter. I applied some watered down distress ink to the background and added lots of splatters. My daughter loves stocking hats and her favourite thing about winter is being able to wear them. Below are some close ups and the challenge. Thanks for stopping by.
