Hey everyone. Here's the last challenge of the year from The Studio Challenges. It was a year in review challenge. 2020 was an especially hard year for our family so I decided to create a page of the best thing that happened. The addition of our sweet, precious Felix. Hey everyone. Merry Christmas!!! I'm  really late posting this one. It's from a DT scrap lift challenge from November 29th at The Studio Challenges. I decided to scrap lift a layout from Rainny featuring a large rainbow. I chose pattern paper with alot of smaller rainbows and fussy cut them out. The page is one of my grandson, nice and sqeaky clean from a bath. He's so sweet and precious. I used paper and embellishments from Cocoa Vanilla's 'Daydream' collection. National Scrapbooking Day

Hey everyone. Finally getting around to sharing a couple layouts that I created for National Scrapbooking Day/Weekend. There were so many challenges/events to take part in. I decided to take part in some challenges from Cocoa Vanilla Studio. The first was a sketch challenge. I used the 'Wild at Heart' collection from Cocoa Vanilla for this layout of my daughter and grandson.

The second challenge was to scrap lift a layout from a member of the Cocoa Vanilla design team. There were so many gorgeous pages to choose from. I decided to choose a page from Anna Komenda. Once again I used a line from Cocoa Vanilla. This time I went with their new collection called 'Legendary'.

The Boys

Hey everyone. There's a fun shape challenge at The Studio Challenges today. You are to use 3 squares, 2 circles and 1 triangle. I used 3 larger squares of pattern paper behind my photo. For the circles I used 1 flair button and 1 punched circle and for the triangle I used a flag with the word fun. I used the 'Legendary' collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio for this page of my grandson and his dad. For the background I totally scrap lifted a page from Vicki Boutin. Using distress ink I first applied some with the packaging technique. I then stencil stamped and stamped with the ink. I also stamped using the same colour in distress paint. Finally I added splatters with watered down distress ink. Absolutely love how it turned out. For added texture I also added some cheese cloth behind half of my photo. Below are some close ups. Eat, Sleep, Scrap, Repeat

Hey everyone. There's a new challenge at The Studio Challenges today. I would also like to welcome 3 new designers to the team. The challenge is to create a page about scrapbooking, as National Scrapbooking Day was last weekend. I decided to create a layout about my love of scrapbooking and how my creative process has changed. I used the beautiful 'Bohemian Dream' line from Cocoa Vanilla Studio for my page. Epic Fun

Hey everyone. Here's my take on a sketch challenge from My Stamping Studio. I used Cocoa Vanilla Studio's 'Legendary' collection for this layout of my grandson coasting with his cousins. They had so much fun!! I used watered down distress ink on the background and tried my new favourite technique. Stencil stamping. Love the effect this creates. Below are some close ups. Mr Fantastic

Hey everyone. I have my take on the August sketch challenge at The Studio Challenges to share with you today. I used the 'Boys Rule' collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio for this page of my grandson. He's growing up too fast!! For the background I only added some large drops and splatters of art crayons as the paper did all the work for me!! Gotta love mixed media looking pattern paper!! King of Everything

Hey everyone. Wanted to share a layout that was inspired by the Sketchy Boards Challenge for May, on Facebook. I used the 'Boys Rule' line by Cocoa Vanilla Studio for this page of my grandson and his Dad, goofing around at home. I LOVE Cocoa Vanilla Studio!!! Everything, from the paper to embellishments, is to die for. For the background I applied some watered down distress ink with the packaging technique, then added some stamping and splatters.
