Epic Fun

Hey everyone. Here's my take on a sketch challenge from My Stamping Studio. I used Cocoa Vanilla Studio's 'Legendary' collection for this layout of my grandson coasting with his cousins. They had so much fun!! I used watered down distress ink on the background and tried my new favourite technique. Stencil stamping. Love the effect this creates. Below are some close ups. Thanks for stopping by.

Moments

Hey everyone. I have a layout to share that has been created from one of my favourite collections. The beautiful Indigo Hills 2 line from Pinkfresh Studio. I used layers of watered down distress ink on the background. There was lots of fussy cutting involved as well. Love how it turned out. Below are some close ups. Thanks for stopping by.

Bless This House

Hey everyone. Here's my take on the floral challenge at The Studio Challenges where you were to use floral papers and flowers. I used Carta Bella's 'Home Again' collection for this page of me and my siblings. Not very often we get photos of the three of us. I did something a little different on the background this time. I painted some stripes as well as using the packaging technique with watered down distress ink. Really like how it turned out. Below are some close ups. Thanks for stopping by.

Hello My Name is Finn

Hey everyone. I have a layout to share today that was inspired by a couple of Facebook challenges. The first was a sketch challenge from My Stamping Studio. The second was a tic tac toe challenge from Scrapbook Your Joy. For the tic tac toe challenge I used orange, multiple photos and stars.
I used the 'Teen Spirit' line from Echo Park Paper for this layout of my two favourite people. Especially love that little face!! Lots of modelling paste and layers of distress ink on the background. Below are some close ups. Thanks for stopping by.

Let the Snow Begin

Hey everyone. There's a sketch challenge at The Studio Challenges today. I used Echo Park Paper's 'A Perfect Winter' line for this layout of my grandson out in the first snow of the season. For the background I applied some modelling paste through a stencil, and then added some watered down distress ink with the packaging technique. I then added lots of splatters. I really love how it turned out. Below are some closeups and the sketch. Thanks for stopping by.

Nope Not Today

Hey everyone. I have an inspired by fashion challenge, from Scrapbook Your Joy, to share with you today. There were a number of Pinterest runway photos to draw inspiration from. I was inspired by the colours and white flowers in one of the dresses. I used an older collection from Simple Stories called '# Whatever' for this page of my daughter and grandson. What can I say. That little face says it all!! So cute, but soooo stubborn. Below are some close ups and the photo that inspired me. Thanks for stopping by.
