Wildflower

Hey everyone. Here's a layout based on Stuck?!Sketches September 15th sketch and Cuts2Luv's September challenge. I used Kaiser Craft's 'Wildflower' collection for this layout of my niece. This is one beautiful line!! Because the photo was vertical, I rotated the sketch. For the Cuts2Luv challenge you had to use 2 elements from the monthly moodboard and some of their products. From the moodboard I used a kid photo and doilie embellishment. Below are some close ups, the moodboard and the sketch. Hey everyone.  Here's another great sketch/word challenge from Scrap Our Stash. The layout is of my nephew, out on his grandfather's boat. I received the Secrets of the Sea collection from Bella Blvd in a kit club, and wondered how I would use it. It was perfect for this layout!!! For the word challenge I used the following:

L : Lawn Fawn twine
E : ephemera
A : alphas
R : Ranger distress ink
N : navy blue

Love This Little Face

Hey everyone. Here's my take on September's tic tac toe challenge at Scrap Our Stash. I dug deep into my stash and found a 6x6 paper pad from Basic Grey called 'Bowties'. Because of the name, I then decided to make a little bowtie from a Sizzix die.

For the background I used Vicki Boutin's art crayons from American Crafts. I used the packaging technique to apply the color. I am also getting the hang of my Cameo, and using a cut file from JustNick, I was able to create the large, open title. For the challenge I used a diagonal row: cork, ruler and circle. The cork hearts were from American Crafts. The washi tape ruler and saying was from Cocoa Vanilla Studio, and the flair button from Cuts2Luv. Below are some more close ups and the challenge. So Sweet

Hey everyone. Here's my take on Creative Scrappers' sketch #309 and the tic tac toe challenge at The Studio Challenges. This, unfortunately, will be the last challenge at Creative Scrappers, so I would like to say thanks to Kristine for all the wonderful sketches and good luck with whatever the future holds!! For this layout of my little grandson, I used Cocoa Vanilla Studio's 'You Rock' collection. What a great line for boys. The embellishments are unreal. I also used my Silhouette for the first time and cut out the title. Hey everyone. Here's my take on this month's sketch/word challenge at Scrap Our Stash. The photo is  of my daughter and her little family, outside their home on Mother's Day.  I used Simple Stories' 'Domestic Bliss' collection for this layout. The little ribbon flower was from Maya Road.

For the background I used Prima's Tropical watercolors. I mixed the blue and green to make this beautiful teal color. The navy was a distress ink from Ranger. For the word part of the challenge I used the following:

T : thread, Tropicals watercolor from Prima
R : ribbon flower, Ranger distress ink
A : alphas
V : vellum
E : ephemera, enamel dots
L : Lawn Fawn twine

Hey everyone. Here's my take on the August 1st sketch at Stuck?!Sketches. The photo is of my niece and our dog Beau, enjoying a beautiful summer day. I used Simple Stories' 'Sunshine and Happiness' collection. This line is SOOO pretty. Absolutely love it!! The flair buttons were from Cuts2Luv.  The flowers were all fussy cut from pattern paper.  Make sure to check out the SS blog. There is a ton of inspiration to be found !!
