A Day Spent Together
Hey everyone. Here's a layout based on Scrap Our Stash's October tic tac toe challenge. I used left overs from an older Clique Kit I had laying around. A true stash challenge. The papers were from Maggie Holmes' Gather collection. For the challenge I used the column on the left: the color orange, doily and mini alphas. Love how these challenges make me dig into my stash. Below are some close ups and the challenge. Thanks for stopping by.

Be Different
Hey everyone. Here's my take on Stuck?!Sketches May 1st sketch, as well as the May challenge at Clique Kits. I used pattern paper and embellishments from the February Bee You kit from Clique Kits. The challenge for May was to use gold on your layout. Using Heidi Swapp's gold color shine, I splattered some spray around the page. Using the straw end from the nozzle, I also colored the inside of the flowers. I must say baby Finn makes quite the cute subject!!! Below are some close ups and the sketch. Thanks for stopping by.

Scrap Our Stash February Sketch/Word Challenge
Hey everyone. Here's my take on this month's sketch challenge at Scrap Our Stash. Instead of the two large triangles, I decided to cut small ones from the checkered pattern paper and attach them around my page. For the word twist I used the following:
C: Crate Paper, colorshine
U: uniball pen, upcycle (The two little pieces of washi tape I used came from a kit where they had been used to keep a small envelope closed)
P: polariod frames
I: ink
D: diecut
For the background I applied some gesso with my finger and then using the packaging technique, I applied the ink. Splatters with the ink and colorshine followed. The birds and frames were fussy cut from pattern paper. Below is the challenge and some close ups. Thanks for stopping by!!

Hello Little One
Hey everyone. Here's a layout based on Creative Scrappers' January sketch and Clique Kits' January challenge. I'm so excited to become a grandma!! Can't wait for May to arrive!!! Think of the pictures!! The products used for this layout came mostly from Clique Kits' December 'Wonderland' kit. The challenge at Clique Kits was to use ink/medium on your layout. For this page I first applied gesso to the background and then ink, using a packaging technique, and finally some splatters. Below are some close ups as well as the sketch. Thanks for stopping by!!

XOXO
Hey everyone. Here's a layout based on Clique Kits November challenge and one of the November challenges at The Studio Challenges. The pattern paper, thickers, flair button, journaling cards and diecut all came from the Swan Lake November monthly kit from Clique Kits. The pattern paper and diecut were from Maggie Holmes Gather collection from Crate Paper. What a beautiful line!!! At The Studio Challenges, the challenge was to draw inspiration from a photo of a table setting. The photo reminded me of Thanksgiving, so I decided to do a layout of someone I was thankful for, my daughter. The soft colors also inspired me. Below are some close ups, the photo of the table setting and the sketch from Clique Kits. Thanks for stopping by.

Young, Wild & Free
Hey everyone. Here's my take on the November color palette at The Studio Challenges blog. The wood grain color that I used is quite a bit lighter and I wasn't able to incorporate the green :( Hope that's OK. The pattern paper, cutouts, journalling cards and flair button are all from Clique Kits September Moon Child Kit. The wood veneer was from Studio Calico. Close ups and the color palette are below. Thanks for stopping by.

Dream Big
Hey everyone. I found some new challenge blogs to take part in, as well as a new kit club. This layout is based on the October Tic Tac Toe challenge at The Studio Challenges, as well as the October sketch at Clique Kits. The pattern paper, flair button and die cuts used are all from Clique kits' September Moon Child monthly kit. Can't wait to see what comes in the next kits!!!! The flowers were fussy cut from pattern paper and the wood veneer was from various manufacturers.
For the Tic Tac Toe challenge I used arrows, thread and flair. Thanks for stopping by!!
